My travel itinerary has two non-negotiables: a good hotel and a great museum. Once the first is booked, I'm already researching the second. If you’re a museum lover like I am, or want to make it a part of your itinerary, here’s Exhibit A: 12 museums everyone should visit at least once in their lifetime.
In today’s edition:
-
If a Mexican vacay is on your mind, now’s the time to book with up to 30% off
-
Euro-ping for a deal? Some cities deliver, and others do not

Hyatt Is Cutting Hotel Prices In Mexico By Up To 30%
|
|
Like I always say, Mexico is medicine, and Hyatt has made the prescription a whole lot cheaper. The hotel brand is offering up to 30% off properties across Mexico, but you'll need to book by June 2 to grab the savings. Some of my favorite hotels are even on the list of eligible properties, like Thompson Zihuatanejo and Park Hyatt Cabo Del Sol. Get your wallet out!
The deal covers nearly 70 properties across Mexico, from city stays to beachfront escapes and all-inclusive resorts, and is open to World of Hyatt members. Joining is free, so there's no reason to miss out. Just keep in mind the discount applies to the room rate only, blackout dates may apply, and the 30% rate requires full prepayment with no changes or cancellations. It's also worth checking the member rate before you commit, since it can sometimes come out cheaper than the sale price.
🇲🇽 Which hotels are part of the sale?
Some standout names on the list include Hyatt Centric Playa del Carmen, the new Alila Mayakoba, Hotel San Cristóbal, and Hyatt Regency Merida, but the full list is worth browsing since there are options across pretty much every corner of the country. Check them all out here!

Europe's Cheapest and Most Expensive City Breaks
|
|
Europe can be spent one of two ways: the kind of trip where you come home pleasantly surprised by your bank account, or the kind where you're avoiding logging into your banking app on the flight home, which I admittedly have done. With flight prices climbing and budgets tightening, it’s good to know which cities will stretch your dollars and which ones will drain you of all you’ve got.
The UK's Post Office Travel Money dropped its latest City Costs Barometer, covering 50 cities and 12 everyday tourist expenses for two people. This includes coffees, beers, meals, transport, attractions, museums, and a two-night hotel stay. Basically, everything that’ll quietly add up before you've even found your bearings.
Eastern Europe dominates, claiming eight of the top ten spots. Leading the list for the first time is Sarajevo at just $315 for two people, a city where Ottoman bazaars sit next to Austro-Hungarian architecture and your money stretches further than you'd expect. Close behind are Bucharest, Tirana, Belgrade, and Trenčín, four cities that really deliver on culture, food, and unique experiences.
Eastern Europe has been holding out on us, it seems. Check the full list here, and let's all agree to meet in Bucharest. Why not!

Disney World's Newest Attractions Are Here For Summer
|
|
Disney is not easing into summer; it's sprinting. Between a Muppets takeover of the Rock 'n' Roller Coaster, a newly updated Buzz Lightyear ride, and so much more, there is genuinely a lot to get excited about this season if you want to put a summer plan in place.
Everything new at Disney World and Disneyland:
🎸 Rock 'n' Roller Coaster starring The Muppets opens May 26 at Disney World
🐾 Bluey's Best Day Ever stage show and themed area is now open at Fantasyland Theatre, Disneyland
🚀 Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin reopened April 8 with new ride vehicles and upgraded blasters at Magic Kingdom, Disney World
✈️ Soarin' Across America arrives July 2 at both Epcot, Disney World, and California Adventure, Disneyland
🐶 Bluey and Bingo meet-and-greets coming to Conservation Station, Animal Kingdom, Disney World, starting May 26
That's not even all. On July 2, Soarin' Across America will replace Soarin' Around the World at both Epcot and California Adventure. What was once a global tour will be a coast-to-coast celebration of the US. The updated ride will take guests over a dozen American cityscapes and scenic landscapes. The most exciting part is that you’ll have to smell and hear the sounds of these places to make you feel like you're actually floating above it all.
Disney World is also handing out a great deal with its Cool Kids' Summer promotion, offering free nights, free park days, and free dining for kids aged 3 to 9 through September 8 when you book a qualifying hotel and ticket package. If there was ever a summer to finally make the Disney trip happen, this is probably it.
