Who it is for: Every woman over 50, and this is where I would start. Two capsules close the four gaps that a whole-food plant diet leaves reliably open. Vitamin B12, which plant food does not supply, and the aging stomach absorbs less of it. Vitamin D3, because the skin's ability to make it from sunlight declines with each decade. Iodine, whose intake fell as households moved away from iodized salt. And zinc, whose absorption is reduced by the phytates that come with a legume-rich diet – so a good diet can quietly work against you on that one.
What to look for: Read the label for what is absent. Most conventional formulas include folic acid, beta-carotene, preformed vitamin A, vitamin E, and more copper than anyone needs.
I do not consider those neutral additions, and I formulate without them on purpose. A supplement should close a real gap and add nothing that carries risk. Judge any multivitamin by that standard, including mine.

2. DHA + EPA PURITY
Who it is for: Anyone who does not eat fatty fish several times a week, which is most people, and anyone eating a plant-based diet. The conversion from flax and chia into the long-chain fats the brain actually uses is limited and varies widely between individuals. Assuming your body handles that conversion well is a gamble, and it is not one you can feel.
What is in it, and why
It is a liquid, not a capsule – and that is not a choice aimed at convenience. A liquid cannot hide behind a shell, which means you taste the freshness on the spoon every morning and you would know immediately if it were not fresh. My DHA+EPA Purity is packaged in dark glass and refrigerated in our warehouse, which is a genuine expense and a logistical nuisance. It is also the reason the taste holds. The oil itself is algae-derived – algae is where fish get these fats in the first place, and taking them from the source avoids the contaminant burden that comes with fish oil.
Amount
0.75 ml daily (included dropper). Each serving provides 175 mg DHA and 88 mg EPA. Target an omega-3 index above 6% – you can test at home with the Fatty Acid Analysis Test available in our shop. Amount: One dropper-full per day

3. OSTEO BIOTECT
Who it is for: Women in the decade after menopause, when the rate of bone loss changes – and does not change back.
What is in it, and why: Bone is not built from calcium alone, and the high-dose isolated calcium most women are given is one of the more common supplement mistakes I see. This is calcium from mineralized seaweed – the whole plant rather than an isolated mineral – at 200 milligrams per capsule. That is a deliberately modest amount, because the job is to cover what a good diet does not quite reach, rather than to flood the system. Alongside it are 75 milligrams of magnesium and 300 IU of vegan D3, because calcium without magnesium and vitamin D is calcium the body may have difficulty putting where it belongs. Greens and beans still do most of this work. This closes the remainder.
Amount: One to three capsules daily with meals, adjusted to your own needs.SHOP OSTEO BIOTECT

4. ULTRA CELL BIOTECT
Who it is for: Women who want more phytochemical protection than a single day of eating can realistically provide. This is the one on the list that does not close a nutrient gap. It is about concentration.
What is in it, and why: Curcumin standardized to 95 percent curcuminoids at 500 milligrams, green tea catechins delivered as a phytosome, organic grape seed extract, whole turmeric root, black turmeric, and a small amount of black pepper extract. The pepper and the phytosome delivery are not filler. Curcumin taken on its own is absorbed poorly, and those two ingredients are what make the rest of the panel worth swallowing. Every compound in this formula also appears in food, in turmeric and green tea and grapes. What the capsule does is deliver an amount of them you would have real difficulty eating in a day.

5. IMMUNE BIOTECT
Who is it for: Every woman over 50 who wants to support her immune system with something a well-constructed Nutritarian diet cannot easily provide in concentrated form. Immune function changes with age – the response slows, the ability to distinguish self from non-self becomes less precise, and the mushroom phytochemicals most relevant to that process are simply not present in most people’s daily diet in meaningful amounts.
What is in it, and why: Nine organic mushroom concentrates – Maitake, Reishi, Turkey Tail, Shiitake, Lion’s Mane, Himematsutake, Meshimakobu, Chaga, and Zhu Ling – plus organic elderberry, blueberry, raspberry, goji berry, and astragalus root. These ingredients are not commonly available in day-to-day eating, and the beta-glucan polysaccharides in the mushrooms in particular have a well-documented role in immune regulation. This is not an immune booster in the marketing sense. It is a concentrated source of specific plant compounds that support immune function in ways that even an excellent diet rarely delivers at meaningful levels.
Amount: Two capsules daily
