Well, those healthy fruits and veggies could be the culprit here. One of the things that makes them so good for you is the fact that they’re high in water, so if you’re eating a big helping of moisture-packed vegetables before bed… Well, chances are you’ll be up sooner than you’d like.
Foods like cucumber, zucchini, and tomato contain over 90% water! Starchy vegetables like potatoes, sweet potatoes, and squashes have far less moisture in them.
Sneak tip: Roast your veggies instead of boiling them to reduce the amount of water in them.
