📈 How we got here
Eleven years ago, Naeem and I were holding onto a fairly stubborn idea: that almost everything about how developers were told to learn was backwards.
Books went stale before they shipped.
Video courses asked you to watch someone else do the work.
And actually building anything meant juggling a lesson, an editor, and a dozen browser tabs at once.
None of it matched how the good engineers we knew had actually gotten good. So we made a bet. Learning should happen the way the work happens: hands-on, in the browser, building and breaking real things in the same place you read about them. You don't learn to swim by watching a video. You get in the water.
That one idea is the whole company. And eleven years later, the proof is you.

• More mock interviews. Realistic, hands-on practice for the moments that actually decide offers.
• System Design for the AI era. The fundamentals still hold, but the patterns are shifting, and we're rewriting the canon to match.
• Emerging specializations. Starting with Forward Deployed Engineering, one of the fastest-growing roles in the industry right now.
• More hands-on AI courses. Building on the Generative AI, MCP, and agentic work that resonated most with you this year.
And who knows — maybe we'll have a surprise or two in store for you.
