First of all, let me introduce our company. EDU Effective Business School is a non-profit organization founded in the Czech Republic, working with many partners and volunteers worldwide. EDU aims to provide education to students worldwide, regardless of their financial situation and possibilities. Our projects are based on the belief that education should be accessible to everyone who wants to learn and has the prerequisites for it. Therefore, we offer our online accredited courses to adult students (in the form of micro-learning) with the possibility of obtaining a professional degree (e.g., the MBA) :-).

EDU Effective goes towards vocational training and micro-learning teaching methods effective for adult employed students. It can provide significantly cheaper programs because the primary strategy is to find the best content from the LinkedIn Learning video library, YouTube, or TedX, thus helping the growth of students for whom the price is still a limit. The quality of teaching is high. The above approach brings up-to-date content from academic teachers (for example, Harvard Business School, University of Cambridge, etc.) and practitioners (from global companies such as Google, Netflix, Apple, Uber, etc.).

EDU Effective has the International Education Society London (IES) and the International Certification Institute (ICI) accreditations (more here: https://www.edueffective.online/about-us/recognition-accreditation/).

The most favourite program of ours is MBA. This program consists of ten study modules, while we currently offer 11 specializations (the list of specializations can be found in the brochure or here: https://www.edueffective.online/effective-mba-program/). 

The form of education (online micro-learning) has a prescribed set of study requirements, and it's up to you how quickly you meet them. The program is designed for ten months if you complete one 15-minute block every day. However, if you complete more blocks per day, the studies will be relatively shortened. If less, your studies will take you longer. However, due to the effectiveness of the study, we recommend a daily maximum of three blocks. For the same reason, a 4-hour delay is set between individual blocks (i.e., after completing a block, the next block will automatically unlock after 4 hours).

You will have a student account (TalentLMS) and an account in the LinkedIn Learning video library during your studies, so the teaching takes place completely online (without any oral exams or commuting, deadlines, etc.). You can study from a computer, tablet, or phone at any time, as we try to provide our students with maximum teaching flexibility. Your student account will be set up within 1-2 working days upon receiving your tuition fee, but you can also start studying later according to your own time possibilities.

As for the exams, we test knowledge via online tests that occur during and at the end of each module and by preparing a personal action plan, i.e., how you would use the acquired knowledge in your practice. The same procedure is present throughout your whole study, i.e., tests, final eTest, evaluation of action plans from individual modules (whether it was fulfilled, what results it brought, etc.), and elaboration of the final action plan. You write the action plan for yourself, and to fulfill its purpose, it is not evaluated, but it is, of course, checked by the study department as part of the prescribed set of study requirements. The tests take place in the form of choosing the correct answer from several possible ones, and you can repeat them free of charge in case of failure (this also applies to the final summary eTest).

All written outputs (personal action plans and assessments) can be written in English, Czech or Slovak. However, the teaching itself (including eTests) is entirely in English. Still, we require only a passive knowledge of the language thanks to the online environment, in which you can use dictionaries or online translators (even during eTests). The learning videos can be sped up/slowed down, English subtitles might be used, plus the videos contain written transcriptions of the text that you simply copy and paste into the online translator. From our students' feedback, we have the experience that they often improve their language skills thanks to regular study. The vocabulary from the business environment is quite specific, so even students who feel more confident in the English language will learn something new. To apply for the MBA program, we require the basic/passive knowledge of ENG and finished high school education.
