One of my favorite parts of my job is reading tongues.

I know that probably sounds a little strange, but after years of practicing Traditional Chinese Medicine, I'm still amazed by how much a tongue can reveal.

Before someone tells me about their sleep, energy, digestion, or menstrual cycle, I can often spot clues just by asking them to stick out their tongue.

Your tongue is one of the oldest diagnostic tools in Chinese Medicine. The tongue is the only internal organ you can see, and it's made entirely of muscle, nourished by blood and nerves, and its cells renew every 10 days. Because it changes so quickly, it offers a real-time glimpse into what's happening inside your body.

No two tongues are exactly alike, and I'd love to read yours.
