Summer is a great time to travel to some of the most beautiful landscapes in the United States. While an ESA is not legally allowed to accompany you everywhere you may go, you can find many dog-friendly accommodations and activities. Check out our list for your travel inspiration across the USA.
- Idaho - Check out some of the most stunning and isolated mountains in the United States - from the comfort of a ski resort. Head to Ketchum this summer for some great alpine hikes.
- Arizona - If the heat doesn't scare you away, check out the Red Rocks landscape in Sedona. If hiking isn't your thing, you can enjoy the stunning landscape from the town. Or put a pin in this one and come back in the winter for some cooler weather!
- New York - Flea markets, quaint towns, and nature walks await you in the Catskill mountains. Once famous for resort hotels, you can still find a few of those in operation, or try a cozy AirBnB.
- Florida - Head to the Florida Keys - known for being one of the most dog-friendly tourist destinations! Key West offers many dog-friendly accommodations.
- Nebraska - To combine a love of nature and history, look no further than the "Historic Trails State." Walk any or all of The Lewis and Clark, Mormon Pioneer, Pony Express, Oregon, or California National Historic Trails!
