It’s been exciting times at Fairphone. Our new Fairphone launched at the end of June, and we’ve been getting a lot of love for it. It shouldn’t come as a surprise. The Fairphone (Gen. 6) is not only our most technologically advanced smartphone yet, it’s also our most sustainable smartphone yet.

Sustainable tech should not mean a compromised user experience. And the Fairphone (Gen. 6) is anything but. With a powerful Snapdragon® 7s Gen 3 processor that’s backed by eight years of software support, you’re looking at a smartphone that’s built to keep going for years with zero fuss and zero lag. There’s a beautiful triple camera system with AI-enhance lowlight capture, a gorgeous 6.31 OLED display, and a larger, removable battery that goes almost two days on a single charge. And then, of course, there’s Fairphone Moments. Our CTO, Chandler Hatton, couldn’t be prouder!

Talking about modularity, iFixit also finally announced their verdict on how repairable the new Fairphone is, giving us yet another perfect 10/10 on their repairability score. That keep our streak intact ever since the Fairphone 2. The new Fairphone comes with 12 replaceable spare parts, including the display, the cameras, the USB-C port, and the battery (of course). This time, though, we took modularity even further with integrated accessories that screw right in.

Everyone’s been talking about the new Fairphone. CNET calls it the answer to anyone looking for a sustainable smartphone. TechRadar compared it to what a modular iPhone could (and should?) look like. Meanwhile, Wired wrote a piece on the larger strategy behind our latest and greatest. All in all, the overall sentiment is extremely positive with people praising the design, the battery life, the modular accessories, and the Fairphone Moments feature.
