Session 1: Into Me You See
Â
Many of us have overlooked Song of Songs, assuming it's only about human romance. Yet throughout Scripture, God uses the language of marriage to reveal His deep, intimate love for His people. So often we live as though we have to earn His affection, striving to do better and be better. But God's love isn't based on our performance. In this opening session, Lisa invites us to discover that Jesus delights in us right now and lovingly calls us into a deeper relationship with Him.

Session 2: Stopped In Your Tracks
Â
Even after experiencing God's love, many of us still struggle to believe it could truly be for us. Like Shulamite, we can become consumed by our insecurities, allowing the voices of others to shape how we see ourselves instead of trusting what God says is true. But Solomon responds by publicly honoring and delighting in his belovedâa beautiful picture of the way Jesus loves us. In this session, Lisa invites us to bring our deepest insecurities into God's presence and receive the love He has already declared over us.

Session 3: Suitors Who Run and Foxes Who Ruin

So many things compete for our attention, making it easy to miss the invitation Jesus is constantly extending to us. Like the Bridegroom who comes leaping over the mountains to call His beloved away, Christ passionately pursues us and delights in being near us. But little distractions can quietly steal our affection and hinder our intimacy with Him. In this session, Lisa invites us to recognize the "little foxes" that are crowding our hearts and respond to Jesus' loving call to come away with Him.

Session 4: A Breathless Search and a Big Parade

There are seasons when God can feel distant, leaving us longing for His presence and wondering where He is. Like Shulamite searching desperately for her beloved, we all experience moments when our hearts ache for closeness with Jesus. Yet the story quickly turns from searching to joyful reunion, culminating in a magnificent wedding celebration. In this session, Lisa shows us how this beautiful picture points to Christ, our Bridegroom, who has gone to extraordinary lengths to bring us into His presence and rejoice over us forever.

Session 5: The Pinnacle of Passion

It can be hard to believe that God doesn't simply tolerate us, but truly delights in us. Yet the passionate love expressed in Song of Songs points beyond earthly romance to the perfect love of our Divine Bridegroom. Every word of affection reminds us that Jesus knows us completely and cherishes us deeply. In this session, Lisa explores how the beauty of marital love reflects God's desire for intimacy with His people and invites us to rest in the extravagant love He has for us.

Session 6: When Delight Turns to Drudgery

Even the strongest relationships can drift from delight into routine, leaving us feeling distant and disconnected. Like Shulamite, we may realize too late that we've neglected the closeness we once enjoyed with our beloved. Yet instead of giving in to discouragement, she remembers everything she loves about Solomon, allowing remembrance to renew her affection. In this session, Lisa encourages us to recall God's faithfulness in our own lives, trusting that remembering His goodness can draw our hearts back into deeper intimacy with Him.

Session 7: Sealed With Security

So many of us spend our lives searching for acceptance, settling for far less than the love God longs to give us. But Song of Songs ends with a beautiful picture of a love that cannot be shaken, extinguished, or taken away. Like Shulamite, we can stand with quiet confidence because our identity is secure in the One who loves us completely. In this final session, Lisa reminds us that the greatest love story is God's unfailing love for His children and invites us to rest confidently in His everlasting embrace.
