| Dear Fellow Genealogist,
Tomorrow, June 14th, is Flag Day–a day commemorating the adoption of the US flag on June 14, 1777. However, over the 249 years that the flag has flown, it hasn't always looked the same and changes to the flag overtime can provide valuable clues about when a photograph was taken.
In today's newsletter, we highlight an article on the history of the US flag and how it can be used to help date family photographs. We've also included articles on two projects to undertake during a weekend: sorting through family papers and saving family recipes.
Counting stars,
