There was a point where I genuinely stopped recognising myself.
Not physically. Emotionally.
The anger became bigger. The anxiety became suffocating. Sleep disappeared. My confidence disappeared with it. And after multiple GP visits, I was diagnosed with depression and anxiety, while nobody stopped to ask whether menopause might actually be playing a role.
