THE 2023 SUSTAINABILITY REPORT
Our mission is to drive a movement of mindful consumption – since 1993 we’ve taken the approach that less, but better, is more. Each year we publish a sustainability report to track our progress, aiming to improve in each pillar of the business: whether that’s thoughtfully selecting quality materials, supporting the longevity of our garments in customers’ wardrobes, or working with environmentally and socially responsible supply chain partners. We recognise we still have progress to make and look forward to continuing this journey together.

A few highlights from 2023:
Traceability & Transparency

We launched the Fiber Traceability Initiative: achieving a fully traceable farm-forward supply chain that uses QR codes to offer transparency for select knitwear. You can find these codes on products in store around September.

Materials & Innovation

We increased our share of certified and recycled materials, and introduced the revolutionary new fibre – Re:sourced Crepe – in collaboration with industry leaders.

Environmental Impact

We reduced our greenhouse gas emissions by 41% in 2023 compared to 2022, and introduced biodiversity in our risk assessment.

Circularity

We’ve made progress in prolonging the use of damaged and collected pre-owned garments through repair and resale solutions.

Social Responsibility

We’ve increased production volume in Europe in order to lower risks and reduce travel proximity, and we participated in Fair Wear’s pilot project The Academy to support implementation of Human Rights Due Diligence.
