So why is our matcha SO good?
✅ Shaded for 3 weeks to produce matcha with a high level of L-Theanine – an amino acid that promotes focus, calm, and improved memory. It also gives our matcha its rich umami flavour.
✅ It takes approximately one hour to mill 30g of matcha using a traditional stone mill. So why do it? Friction causes heat, and excess heat will negatively affect the matcha.
✅ Grown in Fukuoka, Japan, we use only leaves from the first harvest each year. Leaves are processed first as tencha, a flaky tea that is never rolled and has had the main leaf vein and stems removed.
