Our timetable is changing on S‌unday 1‌7 M‌ay. We’ll be offering extra trains and better connectivity on our routes across the North and Scotland.

Key changes include:

- Eight new services between Manchester Piccadilly and Manchester Airport, including hourly overnight trains to support shift workers and international customers.

- Extra trains between Edinburgh and Newcastle in summer between 3 August and 4 September.

- Departure changes on the Scarborough line with services leaving earlier from Scarborough and Seamer, to improve reliability. Some Summer Sunday trains will also be strengthened to six coaches.

- Small timing changes around Manchester Airport and to Scunthorpe/Cleethorpes services.

- Minor changes to early‑morning Sunday services between York, Huddersfield and Manchester, including an additional through train via Slaithwaite, Marsden, Greenfield and Mossley.

This new timetable will allow for more flexibility and ease of travel on your journeys.
