Hi -,

This past Monday, my mom, sister, my almost 2-year-old nephew, and I had a really lovely treat - we went to the Kansas City Zoo and got to meet with the handlers of the tiger, lions, and elephants. We got to watch the tiger eat, and we got to feed the elephants. It was something I had asked for for my birthday, but I was sick in bed with the flu on my birthday, so we rescheduled.

It was a great joy to watch my nephew experience these animals firsthand after seeing them in cartoon form and more in many books.
​
I shared a few photos and some videos on Instagram about it.

Lastly, my mom and her twin had their annual garage sale last week, so I took some videos of Hobbs, my Aunt's 15-year-old seal mitted with a blaze Ragdoll cat, who is also the coolest cat in our family.

​Zichron Tziyon​

Zichron Tziyon got his name from our love for the land of Israel. Zichron – Hebrew for remember, and Tziyon – Hebrew for Zion, or the city of G-d. The same year we got him, we had just returned from living abroad, part of the time in the Holy Land, and we want never to forget that glorious time. Our cats always travel with us, too, even internationally!
