Dear friend,

Effective sunscreen plays an important role in protecting your skin from harmful UV radiation – but finding products that are both safe and effective shouldn’t be so complicated.

That’s why EWG scientists and policy experts work year-round to cut through confusing labels, push for stronger standards and help consumers find products with balanced UVA and UVB protection.

We just launched our 20th Annual Guide to Sunscreens, and now we want to hear from you.

Take our short survey and get the facts about sunscreen.

This year, EWG reviewed nearly 2,800 SPF products – and only 550 met our criteria for ingredient safety and balanced sun protection. That means many products on store shelves may still contain ingredients of concern, offer inadequate UVA protection or rely on misleading SPF claims.

The good news: The sunscreen market is improving. But outdated federal standards still leave shoppers with too much uncertainty.

You shouldn’t have to decode confusing labels to protect yourself and your family.

Will you take our quick survey to help shape EWG’s strategy for sunscreen safety?

Your input will help drive stronger standards, safer sunscreens and clearer information for consumers everywhere.

Thank you for being part of our community.
