A rummage around our cellars has unearthed some enticing parcels of Red Burgundy from the excellent 2021 vintage.

Matured in our cellars since shipment, these wines are now beginning to show their true character, and every wine is available to buy by the bottle.

Why we like 2021 Burgundy

Cooler growing conditions produced Pinot Noirs of striking purity, elegance and freshness.

Their lighter, more classical style means many are already drinking beautifully.

Two Wines That Really Caught My Eye

Beaune 1er Cru Les Epenottes, Claudie Jobard 2021, £59.00

"This one's got a little bit more plumpness, a little bit more heft to it."

Beaune is home to some wonderful Premier Cru vineyards, and this is exactly what good Pinot Noir is all about. Richer and more generous in style, it's already showing beautifully.
