Mark Zuckerberg's $300 million superyacht Launchpad passed through the Ballard Locks on Tuesday evening, headed from Elliott Bay to Lake Union, drawing a crowd along the walkway, some booing and heckling the crew. The Meta CEO did not appear to be aboard. The 387-foot vessel arrived the same day Meta disclosed plans to cut nearly 1,400 jobs in Washington state — about 20% of the company's local workforce.
