There’s a very specific version of summer that I romanticize in my head.
A few years ago I did a cooking class in Ravello, and I think about it constantly. We picked tomatoes from the vine, cooked with produce from the garden, and drank wine in the middle of the afternoon.
Everything felt simple in the best possible way.
I think what stayed with me wasn’t the drinks or the food, it was the feeling. Because my reality is usually answering emails between meetings while mentally timing dinner in parallel.
Normally I cook very efficiently. Multiple things happening at once, trying to use as few dishes as possible, opening and closing the fridge 14 times while convincing myself I’m “being organized.”
Which is probably why I care so much about kitchen tools that genuinely make cooking easier.
Here are a few GIR products I’ve been reaching for lately to keep summer meals simple:

The Tongs I use these almost every single day in summer. Grilling vegetables, tossing salads, turning chicken, serving pasta.
They feel sturdy, comfortable in your hand, and like they were designed by someone who actually cooks a lot (because they were!).

The Suction Lid Set One of those products that sounds simple until you own it and suddenly use it constantly.
Perfect for cut watermelon in the fridge, leftovers after dinner, or covering a salad outside. No more cling wrap, no more balancing random plates on top of bowls.

10-Piece Best Sellers Set (in new Earthy Neutrals) Honestly, I’m completely obsessed with these colors. I know summer is usually all bright palettes and citrus tones, but these earthy neutrals feel much more like my version of summer.
Elegant, relaxed, and a little European.
