🎯 What’s something you got wrong about success early on? |
“Life is not linear. It comes with so many ebbs and flows. I used to put a lot of pressure on myself to make the right decision, but then I realized there is no right decision to get to success. Success is a moving target. Success can take place at any age. Success looks different for everyone. As long as you feel good about the work you have done, consider that a success.” |
✨ What’s something you’d tell your younger self just starting out in their career? |
“Two things. First, set the standards you would like to be met with on the first day. Second, it’s cool to be different. You are being hired for your perspective because that is what sets you apart from others—share it. People will respect you more for it. You are one of one, just the way you are. Why would you want to be anyone else?” |
🚧 What did you have to say no to, to get where you are? |
“Saying no is a luxury. In the early stages of your career, I would say yes to everything because figuring out what you don’t like is just as important as what you do. Then once you’re in a place in your career when you can choose, think about how the step you’re taking will help to inform your next step. I’ve said no to many opportunities I didn’t feel were a brand fit for me even if they paid well, believing that would clear a path for the perfect yes.” |
🌳 What’s an underrated productivity hack? |
“Going outside. Traveling. Partying. Meeting people. Hanging out with friends. Watching movies. Dancing. Going to a show. Reading, especially archives. How are you supposed to be inspired by staring at a screen? Life is the biggest tool for inspiration.” |
✅ Best career advice you’ve ever received? |
“Find a female and a male mentor early on in your career. Both perspectives will set you up to have well-rounded career advantages.” |
⛔ And the worst? |
“‘Pick a path.’ Now more than ever, you can pursue multiple paths. Why pick one?” |

🍐 Selena Gomez never misses when it comes to fragrance, and Rare Beauty’s latest scent is no exception: it has the most intoxicating mix of pear nectar, gardenia, jasmine, and vanilla bean. Plus, the bottle was designed with accessibility in mind. |
💦 Sheet masks just hit different, especially when you’re curled up in bed with a steaming hot tea and a juicy novel. Victoria tried this super hydrating one from Dr. Jart+ recently, and it’s basically an IV drip for your face. It’s also packed with ceramide NP, panthenol, and glycerin to strengthen your skin barrier. She will def be repurchasing! |
