MEET OUR HAIR & MAKEUP TEAM

People ask how we get the models to look so authentic in our pictures. The secret is simple: they aren't models, and we don't use makeup.

Instead, we bring out our own dedicated hair and makeup team.

For this shoot they were the 50lb Sandbag, The Rucker, and the Achilles.

Our internal rule is this: no pictures for the first 30 minutes of any "shoot". Live the life, then take pictures. Those ones turn out the best.

So we wait, and we do the miles and the work.

We put our "models" through high-rep movements on the cracked asphalt, bear crawls past the old pumps, and heavy rucking in the heat. By the time the cameras are actually rolling, everyone is exactly how they’re supposed to be: sweaty, gross, exhausted, and wearing a layer of real road dust.

We don’t fake it in our photos because we don’t believe in faking it in life. There are no shortcuts to looking like you put in the work—you actually have to do it.
