  • “You can't go wrong with a Michael J. Sullivan title! The three GA books so far consist of the first triology of this series. If you have read the print books already, the anticipation is not lessened when you listen to the GA production. For those of you not familiar with Michael's work, this series is the "real history" of Elan versus the "learned history" described in the Riyria books [which sre coming to GA]. It's not necessary to have read either Riyria series to enjoy this one, but it is a fun bonus if you have. Michael usually writes the whole series before publishing the first book. This method allows for a level of connectivity that is unparalleled, and enjoyment is escalated beyond measure. Every detail is significant because you never know when it will come back (they often do). Terence Aselford, along with the rest of the cast, do a fabulous job of bringing Elan to life. Suri is my favorite character for so many reasons, but I have to give a special shout-out to Kimberly Gilbert as Roan. She captures Roan's traits so perfectly I have no words to describe it. I can clearly visualize her bodily reactions just from the inflections in her voice. Whoever did the voices casting for this production did an undeniably great job. I'm a bit biased, but this series is my favorite so far, and definitely worth a listen.” - J
