Like Champagne, half the price

There’s been a huge growth of interest in French Crémant over recent years. This is sparkling wine made by the Traditional Method—the process used in Champagne—which comes from high-quality regions other than Champagne.

Why the fuss? Applying the Champagne method to good grapes from good regions results in sparkling wines that are excellent in both quality and value. Two of the most famous are Crémant de Bourgogne, from Burgundy, and Crémant de Limoux, from elevated vineyards in the foothills of the Pyrenees. We have some cracking examples of both, which are now discounted in the French Finesse offer.

Crémant provides excellent, affordable alternatives to Champagne, whether you’re catering for a large gathering, or simply feel like a classy bottle of fizz that won’t break the bank.

With a fine golden colour, this is fruity Crémant, with notes of stone fruit, citrus, white flowers and pâtisserie, is made by Burgundy’s leading sparkling wine house.

This is a delicious and easy-to-love Traditional Method sparkling Burgundy, with lovely richness of texture, and hints of citrus, toasted hazelnuts and honey.

A cuvée of Chardonnay, Chenin Blanc and Pinot Noir, this pretty pink has a pure, fresh raspberry aroma, a soft, creamy texture and is irresistibly easy to enjoy.

With appetising aromas of baked apple, rising bread dough, clove and cinnamon, this absolutely delicious Crémant is light, fresh and sprightly on the palate.
