Dear Friend,

Over the last few weeks, I've spent time with several people who are thinking about the next chapter of their lives.

For some, that means retirement. For others, it means working differently, spending more time with family, or finally making time for things they've wanted to do for years.

What struck me is that, regardless of their situation, many of them seemed to be wrestling with the same question:

"What do I want to do with my time?"

They've spent decades building careers, raising families, and staying busy. Now they're looking ahead and wondering what comes next.

I've been thinking about that myself lately.

For a long time, I assumed I'd probably work forever because I genuinely enjoy what I do at Hay House. I love working with our authors, our team, and being part of helping transformational ideas reach more people.

I still feel that way.

But I've also started thinking more about creating a different balance—more time to fish, more time to travel, and more time to visit my kids, who both live a good distance away now.

For me, the question isn't really whether I stop working or keep working. It's figuring out what the right mix looks like for this stage of life.

One thing I've learned is that we don't always need to have the entire answer right away. Most of the important decisions in my life started with paying attention: paying attention to what I enjoy doing, paying attention to what I keep saying I want to do but somehow never make time for, and paying attention to what's changing.

Louise Hay often taught that we always have the ability to create new experiences and new possibilities for ourselves. I think that's true whether you're 25, 45, or 75.

You don't have to be retired to think about what's next. Maybe you're considering a career change. Maybe you're trying to spend more time with family. Maybe there's a hobby, a dream, or an adventure you've been putting off for years.

Whatever season of life you're in, I think it's worth taking a few minutes this week to ask yourself a simple question: What would I like more time for?

You don't have to make any big decisions today. Just spend a little time thinking about it. You might be surprised by the answer.

Have a great week.

Wishing You the Best,
