We did a thing…

Hi there,

This week we did something I've been dreaming about for a long time.

We brought 200 chefs, restaurateurs, food people, makers, and friends together for Cook Camp — a day of summer camp for the people who spend their lives taking care of everyone else.

No tickets. No public access. No big conference energy.

Just good food, fresh air, art, movement, games, fire, and a whole lot of really wonderful humans getting a day to hang out, play, eat, and reconnect. 

And seeing it actually come to life was pretty damn special.

This industry moves fast and asks a lot of the people in it. But Cook Camp was such a good reminder of why I love it so much.

The people.

Always the people.

I've had a second to process all of it now and I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who helped bring this slightly crazy idea to life.

And speaking of squeezing every last drop out of summer — we've got a little something coming your way in a few days.
