Jude

Jude

Jude has been in the range for a couple of years now but only recently has the black version out-sold the brown. We think this signals that more of us are choosing to wear shoes that reflect our personalities and tastes in the office environment. A black toe-cap Oxford was the only shoe to be seen in pre-Covid but that has changed. Now you can wear black for formality but also have the more casual essence of a boot. Being a zip-fastened boot it is also easy to put on, so no fussing with laces when you are in a rush after the "alarm didn't go off"...
Cannock

Cannock

If the weather is a concern - in the UK it always seems to be - then boots are a very practical work option. As long as you look after them with regular cleaning and waxing then they will resist rainfall very well and, with a rubber Dainite sole like Cannock, they will see you to the office in comfort and totally dry. With its sleek last shape and beautiful finishing, you can easily wear this to the most important of meetings without looking under dressed. As soon as your trouser-cuff rises up, your individual style will also be on display. We think that is a win-win.
Churchstow

Churchstow

Named after a local village in Devon, this shot of Churchstow was taken in a small pub on Dartmoor. But we think you could easily wear these to your place of work if you want to show your swagger. Maybe not in the most formal settings but for everything else! Churchstow can work from the office to the pub to the dog-walk, all in comfort due to the rubber commando sole, Goodyear-welting and superb grained leathers. You also get the Norwegian stitch through the side of the welt to give extra weather protection and a slightly Doc Marten look but in a more elegant silhouette.
For the love of the game...

For the love of the game...

We all love a shared experience and perhaps the most common and beloved ritual is that of match-day. Whether you are supporting your local football club or have travelled to watch an international rugby fixture there are literally thousands of opportunities, every week, to watch live sport. Our latest blog addresses the sartorial requirements you need to be aware of and suggests some very nice footwear to help you enjoy the whole experience.
