Today, as we honor the lives lost on September 11, 2001, we're reminded of the children who reached out to us following the attacks.

Through poems, letters, and drawings, our young readers showed us just how deeply they feel things. Kids weren't always looking for answers — only our reassurance that they were loved and that someone cared.
