The cost of quality whey protein has continued to rise across the industry. Demand for protein is higher than ever, with protein being added to everything from snacks to cereals to desserts and drinks. On top of that, more people using GLP-1 weight loss medications are being encouraged to increase protein to help protect muscle while losing weight.

All of this has put pressure on whey supply and pricing.
