I Don't Usually Write These...

So..I don’t usually write these.

Eight years of pucks ringing off my panels like it was my job.

Same corner. Same slapshot. Same kids trying to train like it’s Game 7.

I took every shot. Every rebound. Every missed net.

No one really thinks about the garage (me) in all this. But I do.

The dents started small.

Then they stopped being dents and started being holes.

The noise got sharper. The cracks got louder.

And honestly,

I stopped feeling like a garage and started feeling like a backstop that never asked for the job.

Then the Crowd Goes Wild Shooting Tarp showed up.

Now the pucks don’t hit me anymore.

No panic flinches every time someone winds up.

No more shaking walls or loose panels after “just a quick practice.”

Just clean reps. Real protection.

I’m back to what I was built for.

My family thinks it’s just “better practice setup.”

They don’t realize it fixed everything I was dealing with.

The tarp knows.
