Germany, MKUltra, and the Forgotten Derek Chauvin File

Alas, sometimes the truth takes decades to come to light. People like me try to sound the alarm, but we’re drowned out in the noise of TRIES — truth mixed with lies — or digitally assassinated and buried.

Last week, certain things fell into place, and I realized it was time to present my argument that Derek Chauvin, of George Floyd infamy, was MKUltra’d.

But first, let’s set the stage. No pun intended.

Fifty-three years after the CIA officially shut down MKUltra—and after decades of destroyed files, official silence, and public ridicule—Congress has reopened the topic.

The timing is hard to ignore. Mercury had just gone retrograde (associated with the return of unfinished business and buried truths. CERN went quiet during its scheduled four-year “technical shutdown.” And Germany—long buried in the history of Cold War intelligence operations—is suddenly back in the headlines.

Coincidence?

Perhaps.

We are now seemingly living in perma–Twilight Zone, after all.

On June 30, 2026, the House Oversight Committee held a hearing titled Mind Control and Accountability: Uncovering the Truth of the CIA’s MKULTRA Project.

Stephen Kinzer, an award-winning investigative journalist, former foreign correspondent for The New York Times, and the author of Poisoner in Chief: Sidney Gottlieb and the CIA Search for Mind Control, testified.

Kinzer’s written testimony states that MKUltra experiments were conducted not only in the United States, but in Europe and Asia, and that CIA officers searched foreign countries for “expendables” — human beings who could be used and discarded without consequence.

Just as Congress placed Germany back into the public conversation through the MKUltra hearings, I found myself returning to one of the least-examined chapters of Derek Chauvin’s life: his military training in Germany.

Sometimes history doesn’t repeat itself.

Sometimes it circles back to the places where the deepest secrets are buried.

In my uber-censored book Operation George Floyd, I documented that Chauvin served in the Army Reserve as a military police officer during two active-duty periods: first from September 1996 to February 1997 in Rochester, Minnesota, and later from September 1999 to May 2000 in Germany.

Did any of the conservative media tell you this?

I think NOT.

His duties included criminal investigations, traffic enforcement, and proactive patrol.

The Germany detail matters.

Jerry Obieglo, who knew Chauvin during that period, told me Chauvin was laser-focused on becoming a police officer. Whether that is true or a talking point, I am not sure anymore.

He said Chauvin did not drink, volunteered as a designated driver, kept his uniform clean, kept his equipment accounted for, and “didn’t stand out.”

Growing up, Chauvin was described as a loner. Others said he was kind of “creepy.”

So now place that beside the renewed MKUltra hearing, where Germany reappears in the conversation around behavioral experimentation, overseas sites, destroyed files, drugs, hypnosis, and the use of “expendables.”

No, this does not prove Chauvin was programmed. But it does invite deserved scrutiny.

Because Derek Chauvin was not simply some random Minneapolis cop who emerged from nowhere in 2020. He had military police training. He had force-on-force conditioning in Germany. He was referred to as the Warlord of Precinct Three. He was known for his signature move.

And then he became the central figure in a national trauma event that reordered speech, politics, policing, race, public trust, and institutional power.

So here is the forbidden question:

Was Derek Chauvin simply a dirty cop, or was he a government puppet who was used and then discarded?

The Man Who Stabbed Derek 22 Times

No, Derek Chauvin is not dead. And no, I don’t think he is sipping margaritas in Mexico, although I do find it amusing that both George Floyd and Derek Chauvin have IMDb pages. That’s cute — in a fake-and-gay sort of way.

Six years after May 25, 2020, Chauvin is no longer a man at the center of a national firestorm. He is a reference. A sealed file inside a larger civic myth.

His name is still invoked when useful, usually as shorthand for “the trial,” “the reckoning,” or “the moment everything changed.”

But the actual case? The documents? The medical updates?

What isn’t amusing is how little anyone seems interested in what happened to Chauvin after November 24, 2023, when he was stabbed twenty-two times inside the law library at FCI Tucson.

As soon as I heard about the stabbing, I started calling the prison.

Repeatedly.

Eventually, I spoke with a government functionary. Later, I learned from John Turscak that prison officials had told him a woman who made a documentary about bees had been trying to reach him — but not to pay any attention because she was “a conspiracy theorist psycho kook.”

At least the government knows who I am.

Eventually, despite the government’s apparent efforts to dissuade him, John and I connected.

You could say it was destined.

Eventually, I wrote to John’s now-former lawyer, who thought I might make a great pen pal.

“Is she hot old man?” John told me he asked.

“Well, in this picture she’s covered in bees.”

That triggered something. John remembered “the Bee Lady” — the woman the government had called a kook.

Me.

A former Mexican Mafia figure, longtime federal prisoner, and alleged former FBI informant, Turscak is not a polite source wrapped in NPR packaging. He is prison intelligence, street code, federal machinery, violence, memory, and contradiction rolled into one human file.

I still don’t have all those details. But after a series of conversations, things escalated into a stabbing inside the prison law library. And then something stranger happened.

John’s nickname is Stranger, by the way.

On March 4, 2025, Ben Shapiro launched a high-profile “Pardon Derek Chauvin” campaign urging President Trump to pardon Derek Chauvin. It dominated conservative media for weeks. There were petitions, interviews, a five-part documentary series, and endorsements from figures like Elon Musk.

Then... silence. The petition faded. The headlines disappeared. Even more curious, the original article announcing the campaign now returns a 404 error.

Was it just another fake and gay episode and money laundering scheme?

Of course I asked John the obvious question:

“Is Derek even alive?”

John’s answer stopped me.

“They told me to keep him alive.”

Oh.

Okay.

What exactly am I supposed to do with that?
