Bunnahabhain 12 Year Old Cask Strength returns for its 4th release, bottled at a robust 56.4% ABV and crafted from a combination of first, second and refill Oloroso sherry casks. With no release in 2024, anticipation has been huge — and this 2025 edition does not disappoint.

Matured on the north-eastern coastline of Islay, this unpeated single malt draws on pure spring water and coastal climate. Bottled at cask strength, it showcases Bunnahabhain’s sherry-influenced house style. Best enjoyed neat or with a few drops of water.

Nose: Golden raisins and apricots are balanced with toasted nuts and a light floral note.
|
|
|
Palate: Malty sweetness, soft oak and dried fruit intertwined with sultanas, hazelnuts and gentle spice.
