Engineered from Polartec® Alpha™ Direct—a USA-made fabric developed for the U.S. Special Forces—these are the most advanced active layers our designers behind Proof have ever created. Lighter, softer, and more durable than wool, the fabric they’re made from is built to insulate at rest and breathe in motion. This means that one of our ShadowFleece™ layers effectively does the work of three, saving weight, simplifying your kit, and buying you more time outdoors. Plus, they dry fast and pack to a fist without wrinkling. A few original colors of the ShadowFleece™ Hoodie and Quarter-Zip are back, along with new ones

In the 1950s, Italy took the penny loafer and made it their own—doubling down on the Ivy-League classic with supple leather, precise craftsmanship, and a sharp-yet-laid-back look. Our longtime friends at Astorflex are keeping that tradition alive, seven generations later, in their family-owned shoemaking workshop in Northern Italy. Their newest batch proves it. The buttery suede, soft calfskin lining, and comfortable soles that conform to your feet over time keep them at the center of our fall rotation.
