Where did summer go? With heat waves hitting every other weekend and then storms all across the Northeast, it’s been a struggle to keep track of time. Suddenly, fall is right around the corner, and we’ve got a ton of gear that’s been soaked, thrashed, stained, you name it. Our team behind Flint and Tinder took that as a challenge and set out to craft one that can withstand even the dog days of summer. We’re passionate about our one-bag travel approach here at HQ, but sometimes one bag isn’t enough. That’s when we bring out the suitcase, and Floyd’s popular hardcase is our new go-to. Drawing on ‘70s skate culture and decades spent producing luggage for other brands, it packs everything you could ever want from a travel case—extra-tough Makrolon shell, available as a carry-on or a check-in, TSA-approved locks, Fidlock closures, plus Floyd’s custom 360-degree skateboard wheels. And just when we thought it couldn’t get better, our designers cooked up this new dark overdye wash. We’ve been putting tons of miles on our lightwash pairs all summer, but now that fall is almost here, we need a jean that makes sense for the office but still has something to it.
