đ©” Sydney Sweeney Wants You to Drive Out of Her Auto Shop in a Custom
Mustang
TLDR:
âI feel like I am the most me when Iâm at the shop,â Sweeney, the
actress who portrays the sweetly vulnerable Cassie Howard on Euphoria,
told Hypebeast in an exclusive interview. â
Why
It Matters: Sheâs a bonafide car girl, and anyone with a
TikTok account knows it. Her page, @Syds_Garage, which presently boasts
more than 1.7 million followers, is proof that she practices what she
preaches: take a few scrolls, and among many other things, sheâll teach
you how to install a fuel pump and add power steering to a Ford Mustang.
Her own Mustang is bright blue and named Britney, if you were wondering.
So we recently sat down with the rising star to chat all things
automotive, her longstanding partnership with eBay Motors, the custom
Mustang that she's actually giving away and much more.â â

đ Toyota Unveils Two WRC Driver-Inspired Special Edition GR Yaris
Models
TLDR:
Toyota Gazoo Racing (TGR) has launched two limited edition
versions of the evolved GR Yaris at the Rallye Monte Carlo, which marks
the first round of the 2024 FIA World Rally Championship (WRC).â
Why
It Matters: The two models, namely the GR Yaris RZ âHigh
performanceă»SĂ©bastien Ogier Editionâ and âKalle RovanperĂ€ Editionâ, are
designed to pay tribute to their respective driverâs abilities. Set to
release in the spring, these cars are as exclusive as they are
performance-oriented. The special editions are supervised by TGR-WRT
members Ogier and RovanperÀ. As for curb appeal, the Ogier Edition is
painted in a new matte color, âMatte Stealth Grayâ and features a CFRP
lightweight rally spoiler. The RovanperÀ Edition boasts a flashier
livery, expressed through a three-tone paint job reflecting the motifs
of RovanperĂ€âs rallying helmet and comes with a variable wing. Both
models sport WRC victory decals and steering wheel stitching that
matches the national flags of France and Finland, representing Ogier and
RovanperÀ respectively.

𫎠Porsche Introduces 2024 All-Electric Macan
TLDR:
Porsche has introduced the brand new Macan crossover SUV and
straight to the point: it's now all-electric.â â â
Why
It Matters: Besides the new powertrain however, the Macan
receives a striking new look, one that adopts design language elements
from its sportier brothers. The front bumper for example gets large,
pronounced intake scoops and a deep chin spoiler a la the GT and GTS
models. For the Macan Turbo, the rear bumper line also gets posterior
cutouts like the GT3. Overall however, we like the new look.â
Power-wise, as expected, the PPE (Premium Platform Electric) 800-volt
architecture figures are huge â the Macan 4 alone produces 402 hp and
479 lb-ft of torque, while the Macan Turbo is at 630 hp and a whopping
833 lb-ft of torque at maximum. 0-60 is 4.9 seconds and 3.1
respectively.â â

đŹ Jeremy Clarkson Comments That He Was 'Unfit, Fat, and Old' to
Continue 'The Grand Tour'
TLDR:
Jeremy Clarkson shares his sentiments about the end of 'The Grand
Tour,' one that is based on being 'unfit and fat and old.'â â
Why
It Matters: In a recent interview with The Times of London
and sourced via Deadline, Clarkson revealed some details about the end
of 'The Grand Tour,' which he co-hosts with long-time fellow presenters
Richard Hammond and James May. âIâve driven cars higher than anyone else
and further north than anyone else. Weâve done everything you can do
with a car. When we had meetings about what to do next, people just
threw their arms in the air.ââ The 63-year-old car journalism veteran
continues to reveal how "immensely physical" the expeditions were for
him, who he described as "unfit and fat and old." He even compares 'The
Grand Tour' with survival TV show 'Man vs. Wild.' "If youâre Bear Grylls
you go to a hotel â there arenât any hotels in the Sahara desert." 'The
Grand Tour' has confirmed its conclusion, with two films â already shot
â releasing later this year.â â â â

đ ïž Cadillac Rolls Out the Updated CT5-V and CT5-V Blackwing
TLDR:
Cadillac updates its CT5-V sports sedans for the 2025 model year,
including the hardcore Blackwing.â â â
Why
It Matters: Like the previous editions, the new CT5-V sedan
is Cadillacâs full size sports flagship, with a ton of power and
performance to back it up. For the CT5-V, owners get a 3.0L
twin-turbocharged V6 thatâs good for 360 horsepower and 405 lb-ft of
torque. The power is routed through the brandâs 10-speed automatic
gearbox â the only option for the CT5-V.â For the bigger, meaner CT5-V
Blackwing however, things once again get really spicy. Like its
predecessor, the engine is a colossal 6.2L supercharged V8 that outputs
668 hp. Obviously catering to enthusiasts, the Blackwing is optionable
with a six-speed manual transmission; a rarity these days in cars in
general, let alone something with a giant V8 and power north of 600
horsepower.â â
