The Weekly Brief

Reintroducing KUTT, The OG Lesbian Magazine

🔥 From the Early 2000s to Now: KUTT ran from 2002 to 2003 with only three issues published, but it quickly reached cult status. Founded and edited by Jessica Gysel, it was the sister publication to BUTT magazine, from Jop van Bennekom and Gert Jonkers.

📚 IDEA Is Bringing It Back: IDEA decided to create a facsimile edition of the cult-loved mag, bringing all three issues together into one volume. The publisher produced the page-by-page replica of the OG issues, with a new cover designed by van Bennekom and featuring a Viviane Sassen photograph.

🏃🏻‍♂️‍➡️ Get It While You Can: The lilac pages are filled with brazen photography from artists including Martien Mulder and Ryan McGinley, alongside star-studded interviews. The book is available at Dover Street Market in London. Be quick, as this one won’t be around for long.

Burberry Is In its Sports Day Era

The New Campaign Has Landed: The iconic British house just launched its Fall 2026 campaign, “A Good Sport,” and it’s a full-on, high-energy love letter to the beautiful game and the chaotic spirit of football fandom.

A Star-Studded Team: The campaign spotlights Jason Sudeikis, Romeo Beckham and Thai superstar Bright alongside actors Lucy Punch and Stephen Graham, English football stars Declan Rice and Leah Williamson and models Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Neelam Gill.

😍 Our Collection Faves: The real game-changers? The brand-new curved Primrose bag and the ultra-sleek Knight Runner sneaker. This is British style at its most functional, proving that Burberry looks just as good under stadium floodlights.

Is Nike Winning the Culture War?

🏀 Sports and Fashion Are Merging: As the rigid lines between the stadium, runway and street melt away, a new question emerges: who is winning this new culture war?

💪 The World Cup is Coming: With the 2026 World Cup taking over the entire continent of North America this summer, the Swoosh is hoping to come out on top of this battle. Pivoting from standard marketing to a hyper-local, subcultural takeover, Nike has put the power in the people’s hands, and it’s paying off massively.

🏆 How Nike Came Out on Top: From the global tour of its new Toma el Juego street soccer tournaments to chic link-ups that bring Fashion Week closer to home, the sportswear giant is executing a masterclass in relevance. Click to read the full feature.
