Hello,
Eric here. Welcome to another Leaders Corner!
I’ve been thinking a lot lately about how important simple spiritual rhythms are for families right now.
As a youth pastor, I know many parents genuinely want to lead their kids spiritually—they just don’t always know where to start. Between packed schedules, sports, school events, and the pace of everyday life, even something as meaningful as prayer can feel hard to make consistent.
That’s why I wanted to share this helpful article with you:
Helping Families Develop Rhythms of Daily Prayer
The encouragement I love in this piece is that prayer doesn’t have to be complicated or perfect to be meaningful. Sometimes it’s the small, faithful moments—praying before school, around the dinner table, or at bedtime—that help shape lasting faith in a family.
The article shares practical ways families can:
- Create simple, sustainable prayer habits
- Make prayer feel natural in everyday life
-
Encourage kids to engage with God personally
- Build consistency without pressure or guilt
I know many of us are always looking for ways to better equip the families in our churches, and this could be a great resource to pass along to parents, small group leaders, or volunteers.

I’m grateful for the ways you continue serving and investing in families week after week. My hope is that resources like this can help encourage both the families you lead and your own walk with the Lord as well.
Grace and peace,
