Airtable announced it plans to lay off 27% (237) of its employees as a part of its plan to attract large enterprise clients and cut costs. The company-wide layoff is expected to impact product and sales teams that were selling and servicing smaller clients. According to CBInsights, Airtable has raised more than double its next well-funded competitor.

Webflow rolled out a new update that allows Workspace admins and owners to transfer Site plans from one site to another without tedious reconfigurations and cancellations. Once the Site plan is transferred to the new site with the billing structure, site and domain settings, and payment method, the old site will be downgraded to a free Starter plan, and the custom domain will be removed.

Automation platform for procurement and compliance Certa raised a $35M Series B funding round led by Fin Capital and Vertx Ventures. Certa recently launched a no-code studio that enables companies to customize risk-exposed business processes through a drag-drop interface.

Dorik launched illustration.so, a hub for web designers to find illustrations for their projects. The free resource has over 600 illustrations and over 25 packs, and Dorik plans to add it to its website-building platform.

Thinktum announced the acquisition of Illustrate, intending to become the no-code leader in the Insuretech and life insurance industry. David Slabodkin, who becomes the chairman of the Board of both companies, said the acquisition would increase capacity to provide cost-effective solutions to existing and future clients.
