Is professional teeth whitening safe? Will it damage my enamel?
All intelliWHiTE products are safe for your teeth and will not damage your enamel. Our products have no acid and a ph of 7 which is gentle on teeth. A small percentage of people may experience some tooth sensitivity or gum irritation, which will subside when you stop using the products or by decreasing the amount of time you use the whitening system. Abuse of any product can result in undesirable effects. If you are unsure of your current oral health, talk with your dentist prior to using intelliWHiTE products.
How often can I use the Platinum Whitening Pen?
The Platinum Whitening Pen can be used approximately once a month, however this is dependent on your lifestyle (i.e. smoker, wine drinker, coffee drinker). It is safe to use the Whitening Pen for 7 days in a row and then take a break for a month.
