People are starting to ask questions? ☕

Over the past few weeks, we seem to have reached the stage where people are starting to ask questions.

And to be fair, it’s a perfectly reasonable thing to do.

If you’ve been following along online lately, you’ll have seen paint being opened, tiles going down, counters moving around, bells being pressed, mysterious bits of kit arriving, and a growing number of slightly confusing videos appearing with absolutely no explanation attached to them whatsoever.

From the outside, it probably does look like we’ve finally lost the plot.

People are noticing

We’ve had customers in the shop asking what we’re building, delivery drivers looking slightly confused, and at least one person genuinely convinced we were opening a café.

Which, given the amount of builder’s tea currently being consumed, isn’t actually the worst guess.

The truth is, something is happening.

Not in a big dramatic “we’ve changed everything” sort of way. More slowly than that. One wall painted at a time. One cable plugged in. One thing moved slightly to the left before eventually being moved back again.

The usual process, really.

We’re just not ready to explain it properly yet

Partly because we’re still figuring bits of it out ourselves.

There’s been a lot of standing back with arms folded, staring at things, and pretending to know exactly what the plan is.

But quietly, underneath all the paint dust and tangled cables, something unique is beginning to take shape.

And honestly, I quite like that people are noticing before we’ve even said what it is.

That probably means we’re building something that feels real.
