Back In Stock | 21oz Selvedge Denim Straight Cut Jeans

We’re returning to our roots with this week’s big restock — "634" cut jeans are back in stock, made from our signature 21oz selvedge denim.

Inspired by the legendary "Big E" Levi's 501, this traditional straight-leg design was the very first pair of jeans Shinichi Haraki created when he founded Iron Heart over two decades ago. Unlike many of his Japanese peers who named their models with overt nods to the 501, Haraki-san sought to create an identity for his jeans that celebrated his nation's heritage and the heavyweight nature of his new denim.

The numbers 6-3-4 were chosen in tribute to the legendary samurai and philosopher Miyamoto Musashi — when spoken using an alternative Japanese pronunciation, these digits sound out the syllables “mu-sa-shi.” Musashi, a symbol of Japanese history and resilience, embodied the strength and spirit Haraki-san wanted his new jeans to reflect.

And so, the IH-634S (“S” for selvedge) was born. This model became the blueprint for all Iron Heart jeans that followed — a truly defining piece in the lineup.

New For SS26 | 9oz Selvedge Flannel Work & Western Shirts

Are you ready for SS26 flannel fever? Lighter and more breathable, our 9oz unbrushed selvedge shirts offer the perfect warm-weather alternative to the Ultra Heavy Flannel (UHF) models — available this season in a “greatest hits” of colours inspired by some of our favourite plaids from over the years.

These include classic purple/black checks in a western silhouette, alongside work shirts in orange and sax blue — the latter a nod to the highly coveted 20th-anniversary UHF shirt.

The only thing left to do now is pick a favourite, but don’t take too long deciding — we’re expecting these to move fast!

New Models | Papa Nui Hats

The Papa is back at Iron Heart. Created by Australian designer John Tesoriero, Papa Nui draws on his passion for WWII-era military designs and vintage surfwear — a tribute to his father’s service in the South Pacific.

This spring/summer collection adds new styles to the lineup, with all models built by John Lofgren Bootmaker in Japan. These include the original “Ships” cap shown above — a classic snapback mesh cap made from tough herringbone twill — and the lightweight cotton poplin “Nassau” sun hat below, which puts a vibrant Caribbean-blue spin on the traditional “Daisy Mae” design.
