Back In Stock | 25oz Selvedge Denim Slim Jeans - Indigo/Black

Our slimmest style meets our heaviest denim in this week’s big restock — "555" cut jeans are back in 25oz “Indigo/Black” selvedge denim.

Right on the limit of what can be woven on a shuttle loom, our extra-heavy selvedge (XHS) weave is the stuff of legend in the Japanese denim community — brutally stiff out of the box and infamous for its punishing but ultimately rewarding break-in period. This variant adds an even more intriguing dimension by pairing a traditional indigo rope-dyed warp yarn with an unconventional reactive-dyed black weft.

Inkier in appearance, this combination allows the warp to wear and fade like any pair of indigo jeans, while the more resilient black weft retains its deep hue. The stiffness of the weave, combined with the slimmer profile of the 555 style, dramatically increases friction within the creases, resulting in electric-blue honeycombs and whiskers that pop with high contrast as the fabric wears — a perfect storm for fade potential.

New For SS26 | Printed 7.5oz Loopwheel T-Shirts

Landing just in time for summer, the first of our SS26 printed T-shirts is now online. Knitted from 100% cotton, the 7.5oz loopwheel fabric used to construct these tees is produced on vintage "tsuriami-ki" machines in Wakayama, Japan. The fabric is then cut, sewn, and printed in Tokyo's historic Shitamachi ("Old Town") district, creating a substantial T-shirt that is soft, breathable, and highly durable.

This season, we're offering a range of new prints, including the bold "Heavy Duty Denim" chest motif shown here — with more designs coming soon.

Back In Stock | Japanese Horsehide Type III Jacket

Last, but by no means least, our modified Type III jacket is once again available in stunning Japanese horsehide. Sourced from a traditional tannery in Himeji — a region of Japan world-renowned for its exquisite leathers — this thick horsehide is chrome-tanned and tea-core dyed, meaning that over time the black surface dye will gradually wear away in high-friction areas, revealing the brown core beneath and developing a beautiful timeworn patina.

To complement the leather, we've fitted the jacket with an olive cotton twill lining for comfort, as well as internal snap-fastening pockets, heavy-duty tack buttons, and the handwarmer pockets that are standard on our modern modified trucker design. Hands down, this is one of the finest leathers in our line-up — all sizes are back in stock now.
