New For SS26 | 5oz Cotton/Linen "Open Collar" Short Sleeve Shirt

This week’s Spring/Summer ’26 launches feature shirts from two extremes of the weight spectrum, and kicking things off is our new "open collar" short-sleeve model. At 5oz, this fabric creates the lightest model in this season’s collection, blending 80% cotton and 20% linen for a soft, floaty, and highly breathable feel — perfect for long days in the sun.

The cut itself is also unusual within the Iron Heart lineup. Similar in fit and style to a mechanic or bowling shirt, it introduces a button-and-loop-fastened camp-style collar, designed to fall into a more relaxed V-shape when worn open. Paired with other key details, such as action-pleated shoulders for ease of movement and horizontal buttonholes to ensure a secure closure, the result is a unique summer shirt that balances lightweight functionality with classic 1950s style — finished with chainstitched chest embroidery to complete the retro vibe.

New From SS26 | 13.5oz Dobby Cloth CPO Shirt

From the lightest shirt in the SS26 collection, we now move to the heaviest. While similar in appearance to last week’s dobby cloth mechanic shirt, this fabric actually marks a first for Iron Heart, as it is produced from 100% Mexican cotton. When spun, this long-fibre cotton results in thicker yarns, which in turn add significant heft to the fabric. Indigo rope-dyed and woven on a traditional dobby loom to add texture, the result is a substantial cloth that, while technically weighing 13.5oz, could easily be mistaken for something heavier.

When paired with our western-style CPO design — complete with slit pockets at the waist, an unfussy, yokeless front, and heavyweight snaps throughout — we've created a shirt-jacket hybrid that offers versatility beyond the summer months, with character and fade potential that will evolve with the seasons.

Last Few | Horsehide Suede Modified Type III Jacket

Handmade to Haraki-san’s design by Kawaguchi-based leather specialist FourSpeed, this wonderful take on the classic Type III uses a leather unlike any other in the lineup: supple 1mm Japanese horsehide suede. This creates a jacket with serious heft — on a par with the heavyweight IHJ-49 — while feeling far softer and smoother than the rough-out split-steer models. If you think the suede looks great, wait until you feel it.
