Cage-free eggs are worse for the climate

We all want to do the most good with our everyday purchases. But what happens when there’s a collision of values — in a single product? 

A new study came out recently concluding that cage-free eggs are technically “worse” for the environment than those from caged hens. It, shall we say, ruffled some feathers across the internet. Future Perfect senior reporter Marina Bolotnikova was quick to find that not only were some of the assumptions behind that conclusion questionable, but really, it was missing a much bigger point altogether. She smartly walks us through what we should be considering instead.
