Choosing Blessing

A child is not born hating anyone. Watch a toddler in a sandbox, in any country, in any language, and you will see the same thing: curiosity, not contempt. Hatred has to be taught. It is passed down at dinner tables, absorbed from a parent's tone, planted in the space between what a child is told and what a child sees. Moses, standing at the edge of the Jordan with a generation that had never known Egyptian slavery, chose this exact moment to speak not about ritual or sacrifice, but about the choice between blessing and curse. If hatred is learned rather than inherited, how do we raise children who learn to choose blessing instead?

A Third Record Year of Israelis Leaving. Israel Has Seen This Movie Before.
Nearly 50,000 Israelis left the country for more than a year in 2025, marking the third consecutive year of record emigration, according to a new report from researchers at Tel Aviv University. The finding builds on Central Bureau of Statistics data showing roughly 90,000 Israelis spent at least three consecutive months abroad in each of 2023, 2024, and 2025, well above the annual average of about 60,000 recorded throughout the 2010s.
