Dear -,

Rosh Hashanah has just ended here in Israel.

The shofar has been put away. The holiday tables have been cleared. And we have stepped into a new year with prayers for health, peace, blessing, and abundance.

But for thousands of Israeli families, one prayer remains painfully immediate:

Please give me enough.

Enough food to feed my children.

Enough to fill the refrigerator.

Enough that I don't have to choose between groceries and the bills waiting on the counter.

For many Israelis, that isn't an abstract fear. It's everyday life. Across Israel, 1 in 3 children lives
with food insecurity.

Rosh Hashanah may be over, but those worries didn't disappear when the holiday ended.
A mother will still stand in the grocery store this week, look at the prices, and quietly put something back.

A family will still wonder how to make what they have stretch until the end of the month.

And that means we still have an opportunity to begin this new year with an act of kindness.

You can help make sure an Israeli family has enough.

Israel365 is working with Chabad in Kiryat Yovel, a neighborhood in southwest Jerusalem, to get food directly to families struggling to put food on the table.

Your gift can put groceries in a family's cupboard and take one worry off their shoulders.
  • $150 provides a generous food basket for a struggling family.
  • $70 helps provide food for one person.

We spent Rosh Hashanah asking God to bless us with a good and abundant year.

Perhaps one of the most meaningful ways to begin that year is by helping give that abundance to someone else.

Help Feed an Israeli Family.

May this new year bring you and your family health, peace, sweetness, and abundance — and may we merit to share those blessings with others.

Thank you from Israel,
