Hi -,

A month does not sound like a long time.

Thirty days pass. A bill arrives. The weather changes. Holidays come and go.

Before you realize it, the month is gone.

But a month does not pass the same way for everyone.

For a boy in a wheelchair who cannot speak, a month means thirty more days without the therapy his brain and body urgently need. His muscles tighten. His chance to recover narrows. Time keeps moving, whether the money arrives or not.

For a woman who left her job to care for her sick husband, a month means another pile of bills she cannot pay. Then one month becomes two, and a difficult situation becomes impossible.
For a mother learning to walk again after surgery, a month means another missed payment, another warning, and another question from her children that she cannot answer.

[Read all three of their stories here.]

A month is a small measure of time.

For these families in Israel, a month with your help can change everything.

That is why I am writing today instead of waiting.

Their situations will not improve on their own. They need someone to step forward now, before another month takes even more from them.

They need you.

There is no long line of people waiting to help.

There is only the question of whether this will be the month something finally changes.

Donate now and be the change these families need.

Thank you for your generosity,

Rabbi Tuly Weisz
