Shalom -,

If you've watched my YouTube videos, you know what I'm trying to do every time I sit down in front of that camera: go beyond the headlines.

What is Iran actually trying to accomplish? What does Hezbollah's activity in Lebanon mean for Israel? What is happening along the borders? What are Washington and Jerusalem getting right, and what are they missing?

I've been digging into those questions and the forces shaping Israel and the wider Middle East. But a video can only take you so far.

You can watch me explain the northern border. But standing on the Golan, looking into Syria yourself, with a military expert beside you explaining what you're seeing, is a different experience entirely.

That's why this March, I'm taking you behind the headlines in Israel. I'll be joined by Dr. David Wurmser for Israel Behind the Headlines, an eight-day journey through Israel, March 7–14, 2027.

You might recognize Dr. Wurmser from our videos together. He served as Middle East adviser to Vice President Dick Cheney and as a senior adviser to John Bolton at the State Department. He also led Middle East research at the American Enterprise Institute and served as a U.S. Navy Reserve intelligence officer.

Together, we'll go inside the Knesset, stand on the Golan Heights looking into Syria and Lebanon, visit Shiloh and Samaria, walk through Hebron and Gush Etzion, and spend time with the communities near Gaza rebuilding after October 7.

We'll meet Knesset members, military and security experts, regional leaders, and Israelis living on the front lines. You'll have the chance to ask questions and see for yourself the places you've heard us discuss for years.

You can’t do that by just watching a video on your computer screen.

The group is limited to just 15–20 people, giving us the kind of access and conversation that simply doesn't work with a large tour group.

If you'd like to join us, sign up and we'll be in touch to answer your questions and talk through the details.

You've been following the stories. Now come see the Israel behind them.

See you in Israel,
