Undrafted. For most players, that’s the end.
No team. No contract. No clear path forward.
But she didn’t treat it like the end. She treated it like information.
She kept playing.
Took every opportunity she could find.
Proved — over time, not overnight — that she belonged.
Eventually, the league caught up.
She became one of the best point guards in the game.
An All-Star. A leader. A champion.
And later, she broke barriers again — stepping onto an NBA sideline as a coach, and then winning a title as a head coach in the WNBA.
