Torah in the Little Things

“A little bit of light dispels a lot of darkness. The Torah is that light. It doesn’t need to be a bonfire to show you the way home; it just needs to be a small candle in your heart.”

This quote from Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneerson (The Lubavitcher Rebbe) is one of the most beloved teachings in Chabad philosophy. It reminds us that goodness does not need to be grand to matter. Even a small light can push back a great deal of darkness.

And Guess Who Said This?

“For this commandment which I command you this day is not too difficult for you, nor is it beyond your reach…”

These words come from the first man with a tablet who downloaded data from the cloud. But joke aside, Moses gave some heartfelt and surprisingly comforting advice to his fellow man at the end of his life: the Torah is within reach for all of us.
