For more than 50 years, Jokari tools have been made 100% in Germany. In some parts of the world, it isn't uncommon to hear a wire stripper known as a "Jokari." The cable knife design that has become almost universal was invented by Jokari in the 60s and has only been improved upon since then. The OG Cable Knife

Master electrician Josef Krampe recognized the challenge of newer cable types in the 1960s and developed a Cable Knife that could strip plastic-coated wires quickly, safely, and precisely. The JOKARI Cable Knife was born.

Its movable inner blade automatically adjusts to a longitudinal cut after a circular cut. Since then, the knife has been consistenty improved to include new blade technologies,

ergonomic two-component handles, and various frame sizes for handling a wider wire stripping range.

Secura 2K Automatic Wire Stripper

We see a lot of automatic wire strippers here at KC Tool, and this version impresses us with a host of adjustments to fine-tune the strip process to your particular wire or cable. It can strip both PVC and PUR insulation from wires from 24 – 10 AWG.

It has an integrated wire cutter, as well as an adjustable strip length stop. The ergonomically designed pistol grip has a soft component on the handle to relieve hand stress. Cutting depth can also be adjusted to compensate for harder or softer insulation, and replacement blades are available and easily installed.

FKZ Flat Cable Stripper

If you’re doing a project with a bunch of non-metallic cable (NM or Romex), you’ll appreciate the efficiency you can gain with the FKZ Flat Cable Stripper. Not only does it quickly and cleanly remove the outer jacket of many types of flat cables, but it also strips the round inner conductors as well (18 – 14 AWG).

The feed-through handle design means that you can strip any length of cable, and a blade cassette system makes blade changes quick and easy.

Quadro Plus All-In-One

The ingenious design integrates a side cutter, a stripper that automatically adjusts to wire size, and a crimper that accurately produces trapezoidal end sleeve crimps. A twisting system gently keeps individual strands from kinking before insertion into the sleeve, and the ratcheting function ensures accurate crimps every time.

Wire ferrules are available as strips and are loaded into a removeable cartridge. Additional cartridges can also be purchased to have multiple sizes of end sleeves loaded and ready.
